This client has naturally M-shaped lips, which can be some of the most complex lips to treat. The shape, proportions and lack of central volume mean treatment needs to be carefully planned rather than simply adding filler.

Her main concern was her smoker’s lines. However, treating these lines directly as the first step can sometimes result in adding too much product around the upper lip, creating a heavier or bulkier appearance.

Instead, we started by using subtle lip filler to restore support, structure and hydration to the lips. Once the filler has settled, we can reassess the smoker’s lines and determine whether they require any additional treatment.

The aim isn’t to overfill or completely erase every line — it’s about understanding the anatomy, treating in the right order and creating a balanced, natural-looking result. ✨
