Skipping trims for split ends because you think it will stop your hair from growing.
It might sound counterintuitive, but regular trimming actually helps hair grow faster.
WHY?
If you don't trim your ends regularly, the splitting travels upwards. This means that even though your hair is growing at the roots, you’ll never see that added length at the ends because they keep breaking off.
SO:
- trim your ends every 8–12 weeks
- care for your ends (using oil or serum)
- limit the use of heat styling tools
= REAL, VISIBLE LENGHT GROWTH
There is no product that can fuse a split end back together.
