WHAT IS LASH SHED SEASON?
lash shedding season refers to a natural increase in eyelash loss that typically occurs during seasonal changes; most commonly in spring and autumn.
just like the hair on your head, your natural lashes follow a growth cycle made up of three phases: growth (anagen), transition (catagen), and shedding (telogen).
during certain times of the year, more lashes can enter the shedding phase at once, which can lead to noticeable but temporary lash loss.
this is completely normal and part of your body’s natural renewal process. new lashes are always growing in to replace the ones that shed.
WHAT TO DO:
• perhaps book in infills slightly closer than normal
• make sure to clean your lashes daily to keep follicles healthy
• get a lighter set to protect your lashes
• avoid pulling or picking at extensions
lash shedding season is temporary; healthy lashes will continue to grow and maintain your overall lash line 🥰

LETS TALK LAYERS…
oh, you didn’t know lashes had layers? let me explain:
your eyelid has 2-3 natural rows (layers) of lashes growing from the lash line so because of this:
-some lashes sit closer to the eyelid
-some grow slightly above or behind others
-they grow in different directions and lengths
this is why lashes can sometimes look full, messy or criss-crossed.
layers matter when it comes to
lashing. if we was to only apply lashes to the top layer, our sets could look uneven so make sure to know your layers because they also help to:
-create volume
-separate lashes properly
-and avoid sticking lashes together
