Here are the stages of healing after permanent make up. It’s a hard process I won’t lie and one you definitely need to prepare for however it’s all worth it in the end. The healing process is one of the most important parts, as it determines how long they last if they heal correctly. It’s normal to feel frustrated and even feel like you want to kill the practitioner but unfortunately you have no choice but to trust the process. Here are some key points to look out for.

On the day they will appear slightly swollen (not overly visible but the size of the brows is due to this) uneven and possibly too dark appearing thicker than the original markings at the start of the procedure/consultation

Darker the next day but swelling settles

Day 2 getting used to them abit

Days to follow scabs lifting, brows are itchy looking crusty and patchy

All scabs are off where’s the colour and definition gone?

Looking faded and not much lighter with possible patches

2 weeks after all scabs are gone- the colour appears darker (40% lighter from start) they appear more defined this is the look we was hoping for 😁
