This is Karen Edwards who with makeup Designer Elizabeth Hedley’s amazing vision transformed Imelda Staunton into Karen’s on screen self. We bleached and cut her hair and chose three different lipsticks to suit the mood of the character at the time, Imelda suited her hair being slightly shorter so my greatest challenge was getting it up tidily in a chignon for the court scenes. Imelda was a great sport having never bleached her hair in her whole career thus far, but it really suited her.

A Confession a show I was Makeup Supervisor on 5 years ago is now number 4 on the show chart. Check it out, it has an incredible ensemble cast including Siobhan Finneran Joe Absolom and Derek Riddell. It’s a harrowing true story that the family bravely allowed us crew and cast to tell.
I had an amazing designer at the helm alongside the dream team and it was a great job and it’s a great show.

The gorgeous whose makeup and hair I did for her press and London Film Festival premier of Triangle of Sadness directed by Ruben Ostlund and winner of this years Palme d’Or at Cannes. Such a gorgeous woman inside and out can’t wait to see the movie.
