Yesterday Ed and I were up at 5.45am to drive to the Cotswolds for (studio) trunk show, where I taught two Gua Sha workshops through the day.

Early starts like that are exactly when I reach for my skincare and beauty tools like the Gua Sha. I woke up puffy and tired and a few minutes of slow, intentional face work is the quickest way I know to feel like myself again. Working up and out along the jaw towards the ear, encouraging a little lymphatic drainage, easing the puffiness and swelling, and over time helping to sculpt and lift.

Not too firm, not too light. It’s about finding that fine balance and letting the practice slow you down as much as it sculpts.

What a joy to share this with a room full of women, to watch everyone find their own rhythm with the Gua Sha in hand. Thank you to everyone who came and sat with us, and thank you for having us.
