Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 deficiency or folate deficiency anaemia can cause all manner of day to day problems which prevent the sufferer from living their life to the full. Symptoms can include fatigue, shortness of breath and dizziness.
The disease can be triggered when you don't eat enough foods containing vitamin B-12 and B9 (commonly called folate) or if your body has trouble absorbing or processing these vitamins. The problem can also be referred to as vitamin deficiency anaemia.
Anaemia is a lack of healthy red blood cells caused by lower than usual amounts of vitamin B-12 and B9/folate. Without certain nutrients, the body produces red blood cells that are too large and don't work properly, this subsequently reduces their ability to carry oxygen.
Symptoms of vitamin B12 or folate deficiency
Vitamin B12 and folate perform several important functions in the body, including keeping the nervous system healthy. A deficiency in either of these vitamins can cause a wide range of problems, which includes,
extreme tiredness
a lack of energy
pins and needles (paraesthesia)

New research has shown we need to double our intake of vitamin C.
Vitamin C found in orange juice is vital for the healing and maintenance of healthy skin.
Even if you make a conscious effort to eat wholesome food, are you missing out on nutrients that are essential to health? A new paper from the University of Washington raises that concern by suggesting that existing recommended intakes of vitamin C, important for healthy skin and cartilage as well as immune function, are too low and should be doubled.
In the UK it’s recommended that adults consume a minimum of 40mg a day of vitamin C from sources such as fruit and vegetables. The World Health Organisation (WHO) suggests a minimum daily intake of 45mg, but Philippe Hujoel, a professor of oral health sciences who led the Washington study, concluded that an average daily vitamin C intake of 95mg is required to avoid deficiency.
We supply Vitamin C intravenously which means you get 100% of the vitamin C dosage.
