SFX Makeup

A day on set with a slashed throat and a beaten-up face. Loved working on this project.
My first shoot in a new location.

Back with a bang, haven’t been posting on here in a while, wanted to get prepared for Halloween and post what I’ll be going as.

After not doing SFX in a while, truly enjoyed just sitting and doing this. I’ll hope to post some more soon.

Some of the makeup I did was Chemical Burns, Deteriorating Human and Infected Veins.

Students at Nottingham Trent University, got me on set for filming there projects. They’ve still got a bit to film in March but most was done in Feb.

The Crime/Mystery film made for the Final Major Project for The University of Bolton.

Zombies:
3/5 of the zombies, this was done by using silicone prosthetics. Applied using spirit gum, coloured with alcohol activated paints. Stage Blood to add the undead final touches.

Gun Shot:
Small gun shot to the head, using Scar Wax. Adding scab blood inside the wound and final touches with the dripping blood.

Detective Burns:
Burns to 1 side of the face, using a 3 part Sculpt Gel, colouring using alcohol activated paint.

Mobster Scar:
Rigid Collodion applied to the skin to tighten and give the effect of a dinged in healed scar. Before applying a small line of alcohol activate paint to add dimension.

Final project of the year, the group of Goblins. Inspired by the Spiderwicks chronicles.
Using Super Sculpey to sculpt out of, then painting using acrylic paint.

Working alongside the first years and fellow second years.

SFX makeup for the production of Clue 2.
First day on set, included doing a Gun Shot wound and a Burn Wound/Burn Scaring.

Final 2nd Year project- Collaboration between 2nd years and 1st years.
Taking inspiration from the Arthur Spiderwick Guide, the character we got was Goblins.
Using the basis of having pirate Gobles. I’ve created Sally, including skme concept ideas, then transfering them through different porcesses, editing different section.
Then the last pictures are the beginning of the sculpt.
