Fr though, the excuses are getting booring!! š„±š„±
Stop looking for reasons you canāt and start finding ways you can.
Iām sure other PTs and coaches can vouch for me when I say this, but genuinely weāre not expecting you to change absolutely everything all at once, nor do we want you to do the the absolute most. In actual fact we want you to be able to get results doing the bare minimum we want it to feel as easy and sustainable as possible..

Iām not here to start Monday off on a downer, but just a little bit of reality before we go into this week because not every week is productive, positive or āinstagram worthyā
So donāt go comparing your week to what you see on here itās not real if remember šøšø

We all like to share the best moments of our lives on here and we get so carried away comparing our ālivesā to everyone elseās. So hereās 10 real things and thoughts Iāve struggled with the last few weeks.

Itās coming up to 10 years since I got my first gym membership which is actually crazy!!
I started off PETRIFIED of the gym floor. Iād pretty much only do classes or hide in the studio when it was empty so no one could see me.
When I moved to uni I got a bit braver, started actually using the gym, tried CrossFit and eventually qualified as a PT. But even then, I still didnāt feel like I 100% knew what I was doing.
It wasnāt until I hired my own coach that things really started to click. I learnt how to actually train hard, progressively overload, structure my training and eat to support my goals.
Since then Iāve trained to build a physique im confident with, Iāve spent time building muscle, competed in bodybuilding shows and experienced the much more extreme end of physique development too.
I think after all of it Iāve landed somewhere in the middle.
I care A LOT about my training and my physique, but I also really fu***ng like my life outside of the gym. Dinner, travelling, drinks with my friends, nice food and doing things because theyāre fun.
I donāt think you have to choose between the two.
But I also donāt believe ābalanceā means doing whatever you want and expecting serious results. Sometimes you have to diet, say no, train when you canāt be arsed and make choices that support your goal. The important bit is learning that it DOESNāT HAVE YO BE ALL OR NOTHING
Train fu***ng hard, eat for your goals and understand WHY youāre doing it.
Most importantly, itās important to learn how to make it all work alongside actually living your life.
Thatās what I want Coached by Jess to be aboutš«¶š»

Have I reached the age where I start entering marathons š«£š«£
Iāve put way too much pressure on myself for way too long.
So yeah, Iām eating noodles on a day off.
And no, it doesnāt ruin anything.
If it takes me longer to get leaner, so be it.
Iād rather take 24 weeks and enjoy my life than rush 8 weeks and feel miserable.
This year is about balance, iām not trying to step on stage anytime soon. Iām trying to build a physique that Iām proud of and a physique Iām confident in!! Progress doesnāt disappear because of one meal or one day off, REMEMBER THAT!!

Weekly round up š
Slightly different week this week, no training until the end of the week as Iāve been trying to get back into some sort of routine post New York. As you can probably tell⦠we fully enjoyed the trip, lots of food, drinks and just living life which was exactly what I needed.
That said, by the end of the week I was definitely ready to get back into the gym and back into some structure.
