Which treatment would you choose?

2016 was the year that re:lax was born, marking ten years since our Founder Katie began the business as a sole trader.

Leaving a career in sales at a premium beauty brand behind, Katie retrained as a nutritionist, facialist, massage therapist and reflexologist, with an aim of filling a gap in the market for holistic facials that look at skin from the inside-out.

Starting by offering treatments in gyms, yoga studios and coworking spaces all over London, Katie eventually found a more permanent home for re:lax, renting a treatment room at The Refinery in Hackney, alongside offering treatments at events.

January 2026 marks ten years of re:lax, and I can’t believe how it has grown and what re:lax has become - starting from a rented room in a Hackney gym to where we are today; two studios, a school, a pro skincare brand and a wonderful team of 20.

Thank you all for your continued support over the past ten years, it truly means the world.

We have exciting plans for 2026 as re:lax continues to grow and we look forward to sharing them with you soon 💕

Thank you all very much for your wonderful support this year. We are delighted to have helped thousands of clients with their skin journeys this year. We’ve had over 12,000 clients through our doors in 2024 and our treatments have been featured in magazines including Conde Nast Traveller and Marie Claire and we can’t wait to see what 2025 brings✨

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been watching from the sidelines as I welcomed my first baby in early November. I am so proud of how the team has grown this year and continued to offer an exceptional service to our clients, while I’ve been on maternity leave.
