On a Saturday marked by the absence of Spain in Eurovision, I was having a lovely very international but very Andalusian day. Lunch with my Spanish, Dutch, Moroccan, Cubans, Malaysian and Singaporean friends with my Danish husband. Followed by an evening at a Feria. Quintessentially Spanish. Our first of the season.

Didn’t wear a full flamenco dress (was too hot inside the caseta) but got into the swing of things with a flamenco skirt. Still felt very feminine, very Andalusian. ❤️

Love Spain. Love her traditions. 🇪🇸

2 weeks ago she left this world and our love 2 weeks short of her 7th birthday. Her paw prints are finally mopped off my floor but her prints in my heart and soul shall stay forever.

The baby who was on the brink of death at 7 weeks old when we adopted her. Cancer took her away from me despite chemotherapy. But she showed me what being a strong fighter is. My soulmate doggy Lyra. 🪽 🌈

Is it spring yet?? One day it’s bright sun and then we get 3 days of hail, stormy rains and dark skies.

Still trying to settle down into my new life back in the Netherlands. Living by a gorgeous lake (perfect for walking my Lyra) and surrounded by the tulip fields. Most famous landmark is the in our vicinity. This area is known as the

Haven’t felt like wearing lots of makeup or dressing up as the Dutch weather and lifestyle is not really a “perfect IG worthy” style. 😉 but I am content to let you show yours off and I bask in your glory..

Find me on over on TT though… or though. That’s me in my Indonesian stealing the spotlight from the tulip fields…

Call me the cat lady. Oh wait.. Am I the dog lady??

I have now officially adopted 4 cats from 4 countries I’ve lived in.

Milo from Netherlands 🇳🇱 (though officially I was his midwife and he was born in my living room coz I adopted his mama)
Lucifer from Spain 🇪🇸
Maze from Singapore 🇸🇬
Cosmo from Malaysia 🇲🇾

3 cats think they are dogs. Every evening they follow Lyra, adoptee from Spain 🇪🇸, for our walk. Even baby Cosmo, who’s just joined us from Malaysia for this Netherlands move!

Adopt a pet yes. But please take them everywhere you move. Don’t discard them like a cheap toy from McDonalds. Especially not when you move home Internationally.

Living an authentic life is loving your pets as much as you love your humankind.

But please don’t ask me how much I’ve spent these last few years moving my pets between Spain to Singapore to Thailand to Netherlands. 🙈 💸💸💸🤑

Throwback T y’all!

To a fab photoshoot with one of my fave person in Singapore and photographer and back in London when I used to colour my own 5 colour rainbow 🌈.

Today, after 2.5 years of being brown, I’m back to being the unicorn mama🦄 with pink, purple and aqua blue.

For how long this time?

God knows but my world needs some colour after the dreariness of the last 2 years.

How are you adding some pizazz (incidentally the name of the pink from !) into your life?

Monday no Blues!

This past weekend I finally took down ALL Xmas deco and Xmas tree 🌲! Then had an impromptu Saturday night ‘BBQ party’ with new parent friends from Japan and Vietnam.

And yes, if you missed my Insta stories last week, I went back to being the old ‘rainbow unicorn 🦄 🌈’ mama. ☺️

Hope you like it! Let’s see how long it last this time!

No new year goals. Just goals.

If you’ve been following my blog and socials for a long time, you’ll know I hate new year goals. You can set them any time of the year.

These are my post Christmas goals:

✔️To lose the happy pounds I put on eating out almost daily when my eldest girl was here (she left last night back for London)
✔️ To get back to serious weight lifting after more than a year away from the gym due to gym closures. (There were sporadic visits but my body doesn’t count them)
✔️ To get back to yoga practice and end it with meditation
✔️ To restart teaching my Belly Goddess Dance Therapy again after a couple of years taking a much needed creative break.

(I’m also relaunching new things over on my The Love Architect profile so keep an eye out)

Who’s with me on any of these? Raise your hands if you want to join me on a similar journey. 🤚🏽

In the mean time, I’m sending you my love. My filter is called Chinese New Year and that’s the next celebration Asia is looking forward to pandemic or not. May you and yours be safe, be healthy and be happy. 😘

Hey goddesses and beautiful people!

How has your Christmas week been? It’s been exactly a week we celebrated which is our family’s Christmas. Normally on the 25th is a day for our family to do sweet nothing. But this year we decided to do something different.

Not only are we living in a new country, Thailand 🇹🇭, we also have our dear eldest daughter with us after being pandemic separated last year.

See the location of Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, the surroundings, their lovely full Buffett spread and what we did after 3 hours of non stop eating. 😆

TBT: Christmases past. Remembering the good times to end the year, no matter how hard it was (here’s looking at your 2020!)

From the fabulous 5-pax-only-allowed girls night out in Singapore moving back to 2019 and having our last Jul with our Danish family in Sjælland and sliding back to our last Xmas in London in 2017.

This year it’s another tropical Xmas but in another new country and Island.

Tomorrow night we’ll again have our Juleaften (the Scandinavian actual celebration for Xmas) dinner and then I’ve booked us a fabulous Christmas Day buffet lunch at .

Can’t wait for lots of eating, drinking, chatting and laughing with our kids all under one roof. Finally.

How’s your plans for tomorrow and 25th?
