Complexion & Freckles ||
A love or hate relationship usually- Personally I adore freckles and love it when mine come out in summer ✨
Foundation and complexion however can then become tricky, especially if you have a lot of these beauties ||
Complexion Tips~
Try not to slather on the thickest foundation or cover them as they can start to look a muddy, greyish tint behind the foundation, instead use a ‘skin mimicking’ type of foundation that will give coverage yet allow your skin to breath and shine through. (Light-med coverage)
~ Buff the foundation into your skin well with a buffing brush to give an even, smooth finish!
~ Keep your skin hydrated before foundation use. Dryness will again cause build up making the freckles look ‘muddy’.
~ Use a yellow tone foundation as a pink or beige tone may cause the freckles to look grey.
~ Finally EMBRACE them!.. people are painting them on these days, make use of them gurl!
