Reverse Nordic Curls

This exercise is designed to allow you to strengthen your quads (thighs) through length. This in turn allows for the body to adapt to its new length.

This will mean that you can maintain this level of mobility for a longer period than through static stretching alone.

I started using this exercise around 3 months ago to treat a knee injury from running. I started out by having a chair next to me for support and could barely get back 6-10 inches before I felt like I was going to fall. But from starting small and using support when required. I have built up to this range and it is continually progressing. As a bonus with no more knee pain when running!

Hip Mobility 4

Loaded Piriformis Stretch

Phenomenal exercise to increase mobility through the hips

The idea of adding weight to this is so that the body gets strong in compromised positions rather than just being able to reach these positions I.e. get flexible

This will allow you to be far less likely to acquire and injury. Due to the contractile nature of the movement, this will teach the body that it is 'safe' to reach this position. Leading to a prolonged maintainance of the mobility gained from completing the exercise
