Apologetics Beyond the Church Walls 📖 ♱

We went to Whitechapel which is the most Muslim populated area in London with Christ Underground to have meaningful and representative conversations with Muslims.

Not to win arguments, but to point people to the truth. Apologetics is not about attacking someone’s beliefs or proving that we are right, it’s about knowing what we believe, understanding what others believe, and communicating the truth with love, humility, wisdom and respect.

We may not see the outcome of every conversation, but our calling is to go, boldly speak truth in grace, and leave the results in God’s hands ✝️

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..”
- Matthew 28:19

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”
- 1 Peter 3:15

A Reminder That God Cares 🌻✨🌼

God created flowers with such beauty and delicacy, almost as if He wanted His daughters to have little reminders of His love through creation🌸

So when you see a flower, remember that the same God who carefully designed it also created you with intention, worth, and purpose 🌻

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”
- Genesis 1:31 📖

It’s not a fairy tale.. it’s historical record 📖

There is substantial evidence supporting the reliability and truth of the Bible, particularly when its claims are examined historically, archaeologically, and through its manuscript tradition.

Archaeological discoveries and ancient historical sources confirm many Biblical people, places, kingdoms, and events, while the large number of surviving Biblical manuscripts allows scholars to compare copies and establish the text with a high degree of confidence.

The Dead Sea Scrolls also provide ancient copies of Old Testament books and demonstrate the careful transmission of Biblical texts over centuries. The New Testament is supported by early Christian writings and by non-Christian historians such as Josephus and Tacitus, who provide independent evidence for the existence and crucifixion of Jesus.

Also, Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus, as well as the early and widespread testimony of His followers that He died, was buried, and rose from the dead.

Taken together, these historical, archaeological, textual, and prophetic lines of evidence form a reliable record considering its central claim that God has revealed Himself through Jesus Christ.

The reason you can’t stop overthinking isn’t because you need more answers.. it’s because you’re trying to carry something God never asked you to carry.

You replay conversations, worry about what could happen, question every decision, and create scenarios that may never even happen.

But what if peace doesn’t come from figuring everything out? What if it comes from trusting the One who already knows the ending?

I began taking my thoughts to God instead of letting them run wild in my mind.

Whenever I caught myself spiralling, I would stop, pray, and remind myself that God already knows what I’m worried about.

I stopped obsessively looking for answers, stopped creating scenarios that hadn’t happened, and started focusing on what I could actually control today.

I also became intentional about replacing negative thoughts with Scripture and reminding myself of God’s promises. It wasn’t an overnight change, but little by little, I learned that I don’t need to know how everything will work out.. I just need to trust the One who does.

The more I surrendered my worries to God, the more I experienced a peace that my own thoughts could never give me.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
- Isaiah 26:3 📖
