Your diet is about overall eating patterns over time not that pizza you had on the weekend.
Food isn’t good or bad - it is all about the context that matters. A biscuit every day isn’t an issue if the rest of your diet is made up of predominantly whole grains, vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats, just like one apple doesn’t suddenly make a diet healthy if you are predominantly eating ultra processed foods with minimal protein and fibre.
If you can understand context you already know more than most influencers online who push disordered relationships with food.
A raspberry may have oxalates but it also has vitamins and fibre making it a good addition to most people’s diets. So when a bio hacker says plant defence chemicals are making you sick you can guarantee they are wrong because they are focused on mechanistic data not outcome data.
Choose who you follow wisely and if you want to improve your diet and relationship with food - maybe work with someone who can understand that 👍 and you won’t be sold over priced supplements that don’t do anything and that you don’t need
✌️
I guess if you stare at anything long enough you might see a resemblance 😂😂
And yes we must all remember to stop looking at things with our eyes and instead our brains that share a collective consciousness 👍 we are all just souls with human bodies 🧠❤️
That’s enough internet for me
So what can we actually say…
It is true that bananas contain an enzyme called polyphenol oxidase, and in a small study of just 8 healthy men, researchers found it reduced the absorption of one specific group of plant compounds called flavan-3-ols.
But here’s what she didn’t tell you.
Firstly, the study only measured the absorption of one subclass of polyphenols. Blueberries still contain hundreds of other beneficial compounds, along with fibre, vitamins and minerals that weren’t suddenly “cancelled out.”
It also didn’t simply compare blueberries versus blueberries plus banana like she implies. The researchers added purified flavan-3-ols to standardise the smoothies, and even acknowledged this as a limitation because purified flavan-3-ols may behave differently from those naturally found within the fruit itself.
Secondly, this was a small mechanistic study measuring blood levels of flavan-3-ol metabolites, not heart health, brain health, disease risk or any real-world health outcome. It didn’t show that adding a banana suddenly makes your smoothie unhealthy. And let’s not forget that bananas bring plenty of nutritional benefits of their own.
Finally, given that most people still don’t eat enough fruit, this sort of messaging is, in my opinion, Grade A cuntiedom. Instead of helping people eat more fruit, we’re teaching them to worry about combining the “wrong” fruits.
A blueberry and banana smoothie is still an excellent choice. Throw in a quality protein powder and you’ve got a nutritious breakfast or snack.
Don’t let the pursuit of optimising one tiny biochemical pathway stop you from consistently eating healthy foods.
Yes it’s great to find a job that you love I don’t disagree but you put a self professed spiritual gangster (her words) in front of a microphone you end up with this level of drivel.. sadly this is the level of intellect that apparently passes as wisdom on social media 🤦🏻😅
I was shocked to see she was a doctor although a quick google and you learn She is not a medical doctor or an academic; rather, she holds an honorary doctorate in Business Administration in Women Leadership awarded by Eton University. 😅🤦🏻

It can make it harder - but not impossible and interestingly research found there was no meaningful or physiologically relevant difference in resting metabolic rate between women with and without PCOS..
So rather than blame your metabolism or your hormones - let’s work with your body and work on the foundations that have been shown to improve health and body composition..
No expensive supplements or discount codes -

These almond daughters and crunchy moms are the worst … they speak fluent nonsense with such confidence
A lot of them live in this privileged bubble whereby they sell a lifestyle that is not only not affordable to most of the general population but also is not supported by the evidence … so doubly unhelpful … show me an almond or crunchy person without ridiculous links in their bio and I will amend my statement
Move around the plane ✅ it’s free and works
Bring your own snacks ✅ it can be as cheap as expensive as you want and can help you stick to your dietary principles -
But preaching about health while sat in business class with a $200 blanket that’s doing f*ck all and a $600 device that may have some benefits in small clinical settings isn’t promoting health it’s promoting privilege and is probably just confusing people more ..
As for the fasting claims in athletes - “The highest-quality systematic review on jet lag interventions in athletes found no athlete-specific fasting studies at all. The authors had to rely on two non-athlete nutrition studies and concluded that the value of fasting remains to be tested, and that it may even conflict with established sports nutrition recommendations.”
Soooooo 🤷♀️ ignore
Would you expect anything else from a MAGA mom 😂😂🤦🏻 - the level of stupidity in such a short video is impressive even for the MAGA crowd.
I’m not sure how they are expecting to make America great again when they can’t even do basic geography or business practices and they celebrate the idea that cane sugar in coke and beef tallow on their fries is going to improve the health of the average American 😂😂
Yeah good luck there
I mean makes a change from the usual spiel about sunscreens causing cancer I guess 😂😂 I do enjoy these big men demonising chemicals found in everyday products that are safe when used correctly all while relying on super physiological dosages of chemicals to enhance their masculinity which we know does bring negative health effects 😅🤦🏻 make it make sense
Look Fluoride is not inherently harmless at every dose, but there is no credible evidence that fluoride toothpaste causes cancer, gut damage or systemic toxicity when used correctly. So just use it correctly 😂 The established risks relate mainly to repeatedly swallowing excessive amounts, particularly during childhood, or ingesting a large quantity accidentally.
When did holistic get changed to mean ignorant idiot 🤷♀️ just asking for a friend..
This post is all types of stupid and comes from an account with over 300k followers … I know we push free speech but maybe there should be a common sense test to get on these apps 🤷♀️or some form of content policing so that we prevent society just getting worse 💁🏼♀️
Just my opinion although given he’s making the claim about homosexuality being a hormone issue I think it’s safe to say I think a lot of people would agree with me 🤦🏻
Well he didn’t have his glasses on so I almost believed him for a second … but then he started talking and immediately I was hit with a wave of absolute nonsense ..
Almost impressive how you can talk with such confidence and be so wrong … does he need evidence 😂🤷♀️ obviously not - but who doesn’t want to believe that they can eat more red meat and butter and get healthier 😂😂 USA USA 🤦🏻
The fact that steroid hormones are synthesised from cholesterol is biochemically true, but it does not mean you need to eat cholesterol-rich foods to support hormone production. Your body produces most of its own cholesterol, endocrine tissues tightly regulate its use, and hormone synthesis is governed primarily by hormonal signalling and enzyme activity rather than dietary cholesterol intake. In healthy people, eating more cholesterol has not been shown to meaningfully increase hormone production.
So If you eat more dietary cholesterol: Your liver generally synthesises less cholesterol by reducing the activity of the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. Your intestines may also absorb a smaller proportion of the cholesterol you eat. And your liver can increase cholesterol excretion into bile.
Conversely, if you eat less dietary cholesterol, your liver typically increases its own production to maintain an adequate supply. So I’m not saying dietary cholesterol is good or bad - it’s just not doing what he pretended which was to some how boost your hormones.
Not sure how eating a thousand extra calories from butter would somehow cause you to now be in a deficit unless it made you violently sick so you couldn’t eat anything else … but this appears to be stupid on all accounts
We can go into more detail about the amount absorbed in our diets and how it is de-esterified - but this man already got all the science wrong so I might save that for another video ✌️
