ACE 2026 — day one done and I am already buzzing.
There’s something about being in a room full of people who get it. Who understand why you geek out over injection techniques at breakfast, debate filler rheology over lunch, and still have energy to talk clinical cases by the end of the day.
I came to learn — and I did. New perspectives, updated protocols, conversations that genuinely made me rethink how I approach certain treatments. The kind of CPD that doesn’t feel like CPD.
But honestly? The best moments were the ones between the sessions. Catching up with faces I only see a handful of times a year. The colleagues who’ve become friends. The quick chats that turn into the most meaningful exchanges of the whole day.
Aesthetics can be an isolating world sometimes — clinic doors closed, head down, just you and your patient. Days like today remind me why community matters. Why showing up matters.
And the best part? There’s still tomorrow. 🙌

This week I swapped scrubs for a hospital gown.
I came to Poland to visit family and within days found myself in A&E with appendicitis — IV fluids, antibiotics, the works.
Being the patient instead of the nurse is humbling. You notice everything differently. How someone explains what’s happening. Whether they check you’re okay. The small things that make you feel safe when you’re scared and in pain.
It reminded me exactly why I do what I do at Verse. Every client who sits in my chair is trusting me with their comfort, their safety and their experience. That matters — always.
I’m recovering, appendix still intact (for now 😅), and more motivated than ever to deliver the kind of care I’d want to receive myself.
