I genuinely feel upset when I see patients with lip filler executed poorly leaving them with overfilled, ducky looking lips! Lip fillers get a bad name for that precise reason.⁣⁣

This lovely young woman came to see me back in 2019 wanting to enhance her top lip which was very thin and not balanced with her bottom lip.⁣⁣

She presented with an 'M-shape' Lip which is one of the most challenging lip shapes to treat in aesthetic medicine because of its underlying form and the high risk of lump formation when correction is attempted. It's so easy to make the situation even worse! Extra care has to be taken to ensure the the dermal filler is placed accurately in the right plane and depth on order to precisely augment the vertical height and protrusion in the right parts of the lip resulting in a shape that is not only anatomically balanced but also aesthetic and well proportioned.⁣⁣

I absolutely love treating these kind of cases. Whilst they are extremely challenging and it can be very easy to mistreat and make the situation worse, when the correct diagnosis, treatment and artistic ex*****on is delivered, the results are so rewarding! ⁣⁣⁣⁣

As you can see, the lip filler lasted a very long time (over 2 years), where itonly needing a little more augmentation.⁣⁣

A huge thank you to the incredible Vivacy lab for inviting myself and other brand ambassadors to the Vivacy head office in Archamps and to see the hyaluronic acid manufacturing process. ⁣

I was extremely impressed at the level of diligence involved in ever single step involved in making the dermal fillers syringes. AND, right at the end, before packaging, EVER SINGLE syringe is inspected under 10x magnification microscope for any impurties, if there are any, it is discarded. This is why Stylage is a Premium brand and this is why not all fillers are the same. Make sure you know what is being injected in to your face and that it is manufactured by a reputable company that cares about you! ⁣
