I totally underestimated the low-level anxiety (such an overused word but definitely the appropriate word to use here) that you get in your gut, when you’re self-employed and can’t guarantee that there will always be work… but fortunately… 3 summers in and I can say they have always been JAM 🍯 packed 🙌🙏✨

One of the many treatments keeping me busy is microblading and here’s one I carried out last week.

Our lovely client had waited a long time (squeezing in a wedding and a baby since we first met) and was finally able to treat herself to the brows she’d long been craving!

What a lovely post to start the new year with 💕

Our client is a survivor of breast cancer but ever since her treatment, had felt embarrassed to be seen without any makeup on, as her brow hair never really grew back properly.

After multiple hybrid dye appointments (despite the client living over 200miles away but regularly travelling up to see her grandson) we decide to go for some semi permanent ombré brows 💥

In true NEIKID fashion we aired on the side of caution and kept these brows super light and soft, with the plan to add just as much pigment in the second appointment, rather than using that time as a simple top up.

By breaking the appointments into a 50/50 approach like this, instead of 90/10, it allows our client time to get used to their brows and feel more at ease with the healing process ❤️‍🩹

The brief was for the tails to be filled in, plus a small section at the top front, to come slightly higher than they do naturally …and that’s exactly what we delivered. 💯
