#3. BULK PREPARE YOUR MEALS
🍏 Try new cooking methods using your more cost effective cooking methods, such as slow cooking.
🍏 Cooking in bulk means you can buy in bulk to save cost.
🍏 Prepare a base meal which can be frozen and used in different ways weekly. For example savory mince can be batched cooked and used in dishes like cottage pie, mince with wholewheat toast or baked potatoes etc.

This will help you stick to your plan, have meals ready to be defrosted and added to and save you money. 💷💷

🥊 Never shop on an empty stomach.
🥊 Stick to your shopping list.
🥊 Look for sales/specials online before you go.
🥊 Buy in bulk where possible.
🥊 Look for no-name/store brand options that may be more cost effective.
🥊 Stock up on long-life pantry items a few at a time each time you shop.
🥊 Try on-line shopping instead of going to shops to avoid impulse buying.
🥊 Shop around for various food deals/specials - don't limit yourself to just one store.

Remember - shopping should not be stressful. As long as you have a detailed list of what you need for your meal plan then it will be a breeze!

#1 PLAN OUT YOUR WEEKLY MEALS.
🍎 Plan out all meals for the coming week. Include ALL daily meals including children's meals.
🍎 Choose a protein and plan your lunch/dinner around it.
🍎 Look at recipes using less expensive cuts of meat.
🍎 Buy seasonal fruit and vegetables.
🍎 Frozen and tinned foods are often fresher as well as cost effective.
🍎 Stock up on long life staples such as tinned beans, lentils, chickpeas, rice, whole wheat pastas, tinned tomatoes, stocks etc.
🍎 Buy in bulk where possible.
🍎 Use what you currently have in your pantry when planning.
🍎 Draw up a shopping list based on your weekly plan.

Be creative and have some fun when coming up with your meal plans. Think about how to use the same protein from dinner the day before in our lunch for the next day, but in a slightly different way.
For example - having a roast chicken for dinner and then using the left over chicken for a stock as well as a chicken salad or wrap for lunch.

To me this is all about confidence and how we feel about ourselves...

I used to get triggered about things that I know I was insecure or had a complex about. It felt like a weakness of some kind.

A good example of this for me was that I used to take huge offense if I thought people were even suggesting I wasn't the best mom out there.

Now? I KNOW my worth. Things don't trigger me the same way.
I know I am a great mom. No one has it all together all the time. I don't let other people's judgment or opinion affect me.

Once you know your worth and you are kinder to yourself, what other people think really doesn't matter anymore!

You are WORTH IT.
