There's something quietly wonderful about this photo.

Our CEO Liz Sillett and Jon Clark - winner of Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre at this week's Profile Awards - go back a long way. They grew up doing youth theatre together. The same rehearsal rooms, the same early obsession with how shows are made.

Fast forward to Thursday evening at Alexandra Palace, the night the ABTT Theatre Show closed its doors, and here they are again. Different titles. Same industry. Same love for it.

That's the thing about technical theatre and live performance - the community you build early in your career doesn't disappear. It grows with you.

Huge congratulations to Jon, and to every nominee and winner on the night. And thank you to [] for an evening that reminded us exactly why this work matters.
