With dual forms, I pay attention to a few things:

• Longer nail plates are easier to work with — especially when there’s less skin sitting higher than the nail. Very short or bitten nails can make product control underneath more challenging.

• Product control is everything. I start with one nail to see how much product that particular nail needs. Then I adjust the amount on the next nails instead of using exactly the same amount for every finger.

• Don’t worry if the first nail isn’t perfect. Every nail plate is different, and learning the right amount of product comes with experience.

The goal? Enough product to build the nail — without the overflow underneath. 🤍

Removing nails with my non-dominant hand 👀

☝🏻The key? STABILITY.

I press my non-dominant hand firmly into the table to create a stable base, hold my e-file securely, and focus on slow, even movements instead of rushing.

I’m not trying to remove everything as quickly as possible — I’m trying to stay controlled and precise.

And yes… it takes me around 1 minute per nail. ⏱️
