'Beautiful video of one of Grace's online singing lessons she lovingly received during lockdown. I can't put into words how much singing meant to Grace, and the tracks from The Greatest Showman were some of her favourites.🎶🎤
Here you see and hear her singing but what you don't see is the fact that Grace had very little memory recall, difficulty swallowing and breathing, auditory hallucinations and sensory seizures.
Yet Grace memorised and sang beautifully because of her sheer determination.'

16mths...I can't actually believe it's been this long, how can this be true? How can it be that you are not here yet I still hear your voice, I can still smell your scent and I can still feel your warmth. Like you are just upstairs in your room being a teenager listening to music and doing tiktoks with Imy...💙
Then my heart jolts back to reality as it realises none of it is true, you are gone....but I still feel you, how can this be? 💔
Over the last week I've had so many number sequences that you've alerted me to, sparking lights that have caught my eye only to turn and see nothing there. You are around Grace, I feel your energy everywhere. 🦋

Today was one of those days that takes you by surprise and winds you....nobodys fault, just circumstances.
This time last year I was ordering Imys St.JOA school leavers jumper and it flagged up that I wanted to make sure I ordered one for Grace as she would have been doing her GCSEs and leaving school this year. A couple of days ago I placed an order for Grace's baby blue leavers jumper with the name 'Amazing Grace' on the back. You also have to give your child's actual name so obviously I also put Grace Gaskell on the form.
This morning I got a call from the uniform company querying my order as Grace wasn't on their register. My heart shattered all over again as I explained why Grace wasn't on it, and that she passed away 15mths ago 💔. The lady on the phone was so upset and shocked and we both ended up crying. She was so apologetic and lovely and assured me Grace would get her jumper like every other pupil in her year. It just never gets any easier..... 😢 💔
My beautiful girl, words can't express how much I miss your face, your hugs, your laughter and your fun.

Sitting in the sunshine eating (sharing 🤣) breakfast with 2 out of 3 of our floofs Cookie Grace's cat and MontyMoo. They are such cuddle buns and I just love that they match 'sister from another...litter😜'
The sun's out, the wind is crazy blowing, Grace's wind chime is doing it's nut in the back ground, Cookie is constantly 'talking' to me (typical torty) and life feels nice right now ☀️💨🎶🐱🐶
