We will be open between Christmas and New Year but on reduced hours and days so the guys can enjoy some well deserved down time.

It’s also a great excuse to get out the house after Xmas for an hour and put the Quality Street down and chill.

As I said spaces will be limited as we will be finishing earlier and doing less days but we can wait to see you and hear what Santa brought you! 🎅

Another Day in the Life of a Barber!

I love this job, but like anything, it comes with its challenges. From the outside it might look like it’s all fun and creativity, but in reality, you’re constantly giving everything to your client. The cut, keeping to time, reading between the lines when someone can’t explain what they want, and sometimes even swallowing the disappointment when you’ve just delivered one of the best cuts of your life and the client brushes it off with a simple, “yeah, that’s fine.”

But the good days outweigh the tough ones. You build bonds with your clients and your fellow barbers that make it all worthwhile. Most days shine brighter than the odd difficult one. And let’s be honest, standing on your feet all day is a skill in itself, ask any barber!

What keeps us going is the passion. For me, it’s a passion I never found in any of the (many) jobs I had before barbering. It took a couple of years to realise, but this passion fuels a constant desire to improve, to learn, to get better. That’s when a job stops being just a job — and becomes something you can’t help but pour yourself into.
