A little update from me 🤍

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently, and I realised there were a few things I wanted to change at Annie’s.

I’ve always said that I want the salon to be somewhere people can switch off, relax and enjoy their appointment. I really do listen to what my clients say because without your feedback I wouldn’t know where I need to improve.

As the salon got busier, I started to notice that it wasn’t feeling quite the way I’d always imagined. It could get quite noisy and hectic at times, and I know that isn’t always the nicest environment when you’ve come to have a bit of time for yourself. It wasn’t just difficult for clients either, it could feel like that for us as stylists too.

Because of that, I’ve decided to reduce the number of coworkers in the salon. It’s not a decision I’ve made lightly, but I truly believe it will make such a difference. I want appointments to feel calmer again and for everyone to enjoy being here.

If anyone has ever left feeling like their appointment wasn’t as relaxing as it should have been, then I’m genuinely sorry. That’s never been what I wanted for Annie’s, and that’s why I’ve made these changes.

I’ve also got a few exciting things planned. I’ll be introducing a loyalty scheme as a little thank you to all of my lovely clients, and I’m going to be training in therapeutic head massage so you’ll be able to add that onto your appointments if you’d like a bit of extra relaxation🧘

I’m always looking at ways to improve, so if there’s ever anything you’d like to see or anything you think I could do better, please tell me. Whether it’s good or bad, I’d much rather hear it than not know. Your feedback really does help me make Annie’s a better place, and I’m so grateful to everyone who continues to support me.

I can’t quite believe today marks my 39th year on this earth… and my 8th year as the proud owner of Annie’s 🤍

It’s been a journey full of highs, challenges, lessons and growth—but I wouldn’t change a thing. Every struggle has shaped me, both personally and in business, and for that I’m truly grateful.

As I step into 39, I’m making a promise to myself: to push boundaries, take more risks, and continue building something I’m proud of. Most importantly, to never lose sight of how lucky I am to have such an incredible family and the most supportive friends by my side.
