I have been quiet for a while as I was working away at the Cannes Film Festival, but I’m back now and have some new looks to share with you.

This hairstyle is one of the most requested this year, and I’m here for it. Soft, feminine, and versatile — it can be adjusted to suit any face shape simply by leaving some front pieces out or pulling everything back.

And of course, we all know the struggle of finding a hairstyle online but not being able to see it from every angle, so here I’m showing it to you from all sides. Enjoy and don’t forget to save ☀️

I am absolutely loving the new take on traditional half-up, half-down styles this year — with curls starting much lower towards the ends and the twists sitting slightly above the nape, beautifully in line with the temples and jawline. It creates such a soft, flattering and subtly lifting effect that suits almost everyone. Obsessed! Literally!

Makeup and hair for beautiful April, created without a trial. She had a clear vision from the beginning — soft, natural glam that still felt like her, just a little more elevated.

For hair, the focus was a sleek finish with lasting hold. As April’s natural texture is wavy with a tendency to frizz, the right prep was essential to achieve that smooth, polished look that stayed flawless throughout the day.

We opted for a soft half-up, half-down hairstyle, although during the trial we also considered an elegant updo. For makeup, we knew we wanted medium coverage with a light but defined eye. During the trial we experimented with a slightly heavier eyeshadow, but on the day we decided to keep it softer and instead focus on lash definition.

To define the lash line, I used one of my favourite gel liners and stacked several lightweight individual lashes to build that definition without making the eye look heavy.

For the skin, we used one of the staples in my kit – Luminous Silk Foundation – and finished the look with the waterproof liner from in the shade Blush, paired with a MAC lipstick $ellout
