There is something special about a Vivienne Westwood bride.

Unapologetically feminine, a little rebellious, and completely her own.

For Stella, we stripped everything back to emphasise her natural beauty. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, so Estée Lauder UK Double Wear was my foundation of choice for skin that still looked like skin, but would last through the heat.

On the eyes, Armani beauty Eye Tint in 22M, one of my favourite shades for creating that effortless, natural definition without looking overly “done”.

And for the lips, an old-time favourite M·A·C Cosmetics UK & Ireland Whirl lip liner, topped with my new staple gloss from WONDERSKIN .

Stella’s hair is incredibly long, which always brings its own challenge when it comes to creating a wave that will hold. We kept it soft and naturally flowing, with movement rather than anything too structured.

For this look, it was never about adding more. It was about finding that perfect balance between polished and undone, and letting Stella do the talking.

I have been quiet for a while as I was working away at the Cannes Film Festival, but I’m back now and have some new looks to share with you.

I am absolutely loving the new take on traditional half-up, half-down styles this year — with curls starting much lower towards the ends and the twists sitting slightly above the nape, beautifully in line with the temples and jawline. It creates such a soft, flattering and subtly lifting effect that suits almost everyone. Obsessed! Literally!
