Sometimes in life, all you truly need is that one person who chooses to stand by your side through life’s toughest moments not because life is easy, not because of luxury, but because love, loyalty, and commitment mean more than comfort.

The people who stay when things are hard are the ones to treasure the most. ❤️

I saw one funny post online that said the secret to a happy marriage is “KNACKING at least once every week.” 😂😂 I laughed so hard, but if we’re being honest, e get small truth

The reality is that many couples abroad don’t even have time for “intimacy ” once a month. 😭

One person is on day shift, the other is on night shift. One is doing a 12-hour shift, the other is doing a 10hour shift. By the time both of you finally meet, the only romance left is:

“Have you paid the council tax?”

“Did you defrost the chicken?”

“Please don’t forget to put the bins out tomorrow.”

Sometimes, marriage starts to feel more like running a business than building a relationship. 😂

Abroad will truly test any marriage. The bills don’t stop. The shifts don’t stop. If children are involved, the responsibilities double. Before you know it, both of you are just trying to survive another week.

I also agree that physical attraction matters. Don’t marry someone because of pressure, age, or because they have papers. Attraction alone won’t sustain a marriage, but it can help keep the spark alive when life becomes stressful.

That said, I don’t think the secret to a happy marriage is just “knacking.” Intimacy is important, but real intimacy is more than the bedroom. It’s making time to talk, laugh together, pray together, encourage each other, go on dates, hug, hold hands, forgive quickly, and intentionally choose each other every single day.

Many couples don’t fall out of love overnight. They slowly stop connecting.

Marriage doesn’t usually break because of one big thing. It often suffers because of many little things that were ignored for too long.

So if you’re married, don’t just work to pay bills. Work on your friendship too. Protect your connection as much as you protect your income.

Now tell me honestly… 😅
