A weekend of magic to mark my girl turning 4.
I hope you both remember the magic of this weekend kiddos.
Not because it was perfect, but because it was ours.

Dropped my phone getting off the tube this morning. Bank cards, years of camera roll, photos of people who aren’t here anymore. And no, it wasn’t backed up — iCloud pricing is a whole separate rant.
Could’ve been a properly rubbish Friday. Instead it turned into proof that people are still good.
A stranger picked it up, called my husband, then sat and waited for me — even had time to joke “it’s Friday, anything can happen.” She had work to get to. She waited anyway. That kind of patience is rare in London, sadly.
I thought about coffee, thought about cash. Wrong vibe. So I did the obvious thing: gave her my favourite mascara and a hug. Two strangers, one dropped phone, one very solid pair of lashes.
She started the kindness. I retaliated with it.
It was quite frankly an EPIC Girlhood moment.
Happy Friday. The good is still out there.
