What to expect post-polynucleotide appointment? 💉
I use a refined micro-droplet injection technique, delivering product intradermally with an ultra-fine needle. My approach is intentionally gentle and precise - many of my clients often say they’re surprised at how little they feel during treatment.
This technique also helps to minimise trauma to the skin, reducing the likelihood of bleeding and bruising and allowing for a smoother, more comfortable recovery.
Immediately after treatment, you may notice small raised bumps (“blebs”) at the injection sites. This is completely normal and they typically settle within a few hours as the product begins to disperse.
Mild swelling in the treated area is expected and usually resolves within 24 hours. While bruising or pinpoint bleeding is uncommon with my technique, minor signs can occasionally occur and typically settle within 48–72 hours.
