POV: You start laser in October so next summer looks very different

If you want to be shaving less next summer, October is actually a very sensible time to start thinking about laser hair removal.

Not because laser somehow works better when it’s cold. It doesn’t. The reason is much simpler: laser works with your hair growth cycles, and those cycles take time.

Only hairs in the right stage of growth can be effectively targeted at each appointment. So a proper course is a process, not something we can squeeze into the few weeks before your summer holiday.

Starting in autumn gives us time to work through those cycles gradually. It also tends to be easier to manage sun exposure and tanning, which matters when we’re treating the skin safely.

I often tell patients: don’t plan laser around the week you want smooth skin. Work backwards from when you want to be shaving less.

The work you do this autumn is for the freedom you want next summer.

If you live or work around Oxford Circus, Marylebone or Central London and you’ve been thinking about starting laser, DM us “LASER” and our team can talk you through your next step.

“After years of searching for the right treatment…”

Living with persistent facial redness, broken capillaries and pigmentation can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’ve already tried different treatments without seeing the results you hoped for.

That’s why we believe every journey starts with listening.

After a thorough consultation, we recommended a personalised course of Photo Facial Rejuvenation, combining advanced IPL technology with our Lite Peel to target redness, visible capillaries, pigmentation and overall skin health.

The best part? These are Amy’s results after just 3 of her 6 recommended sessions.

Her redness has already reduced, many of the visible capillaries have faded, and she’s feeling excited about the progress still to come.

We’re also incredibly grateful that after seeing the improvement in her skin, Amy chose to trust us with her laser hair removal journey too, after a previous course elsewhere hadn’t given her the results she was hoping for.

Thank you, Amy, for sharing your experience and allowing us to be part of your skin journey.

If you’ve been told to “just live with” redness, broken capillaries or pigmentation, or you’ve tried treatments elsewhere without success, don’t lose hope. Sometimes it’s not about trying more treatments, it’s about finding the right treatment plan for your skin.

Send us a DM to arrange your no-obligation consultation, and our experienced team will create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your concerns.

The biggest mistake people make after skin treatments

You’ve just invested in healthier skin... don’t let your aftercare undo your results.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that your treatment ends when you leave the clinic. In reality, what you do over the next few days plays a huge role in how well your skin heals and the results you achieve.

In this video, Ayse shares one of the most common mistakes she sees after professional skin treatments and explains how a few simple changes can help protect your investment.

Whether you’ve had microneedling, a chemical peel or laser skin rejuvenation, these tips could make a real difference to your recovery.

If you’re thinking about improving your skin but you’re not sure which treatment is right for you, send us a DM and our team will arrange your no-obligation consultation with one of our experienced practitioners.

If your pigmentation suddenly looks darker after your holiday, don’t panic.

The goal was never perfect skin.
Perfect skin isn’t really the goal. Healthy skin is.

Skin you understand. Skin you know how to look after. Skin that doesn’t dictate whether you wear makeup, avoid a photograph or spend another evening searching for solutions online.

For some people, that journey means treating acne. For others, pigmentation, redness, scarring, dehydration or simply the changes that happen to our skin with time.

There isn’t one definition of beautiful skin, and there shouldn’t be one treatment plan either.

Our job is to understand yours. Then we build from there.

The three types of pigmentation everyone confuses

Not all pigmentation are the same.

This is one of the biggest reasons people become frustrated with their skin. They buy products that promise to fade pigmentation, but without knowing what type of pigmentation they actually have.

Melasma, sunspots and post-inflammatory pigmentation may all appear as darker patches, but they have different causes and often require different treatment approaches.

In this video, Ayse explains the three most common types of pigmentation and why an accurate diagnosis is the first step towards clearer skin.

If you’re struggling with pigmentation and would like a personalised treatment plan, send us a DM and our team will arrange your no-obligation consultation.
