OpenMat Pilates

LAST DAY TO BOOK

Your training taught you Pilates. It didn’t teach you how to find work, how to cue a room full of real bodies, or what to do when your first classes feel shaky.

Most new instructors figure that out alone. Or you could spend one Saturday afternoon with people who’re a going through it.

Saturday 10th October, 3pm to 5:30pm
OpenMat, E1
£60

This is for you if you’re studying, newly qualified or in your first few years of teaching.

You’ll leave with:

A plan for finding paid work
The Business of Pilates, with me. We’ll cover where the work is, how to define your offer, and how to build a teaching career that actually pays.

Confidence in your cueing
Teach with Confidence, with Alexi. Learn to cue the bodies in front of you, read your room, and stop freezing mid-class.

Perspective on the hard bits
The Early Days, with Ellie. These are the situations every new instructor faces, and why none of them are a reason to give up.

A network
These are instructors at your stage who’ll cover your classes and send work your way.

And on top of that:
📸 A professional headshot, with a photographer on site
🎁 A goodie bag, including a piece of New Balance clothing
🧘‍♀️ A group class to start
🥗 A salad bowl and matcha

A headshot alone usually costs more than £60. Here you get that plus three workshops, a network and a goodie bag.

Booking closes at midnight tonight! Link in bio 💚 or comment “IN” and i’ll DM you.

New instructors, this is everything I wish someone had told me 🫶

Our instructors’ retreat is this Saturday: a class, delicious food , a gift bag I’m obsessed with 👀, and real talk from Ellie, Alexi and me on staying motivated, cueing with confidence, and actually finding work.

Sat 10th Oct, 3–5:30pm
Whitechapel / Stepney Green
£60, only 10 spots left

An afternoon for newly qualified, early career and still studying instructors.

You qualified. Nobody told you the hard part starts after the certificate.

We move together, then three workshops on what your training didn’t cover:

the early days; how to not get disheartened,

teaching with confidence; and the body in front of you,

the business of Pilates; how to make money.

Saturday 10 October,
3 to 5:30pm.
OpenMat, Stepney Green.
£60, refreshments and a partner goodie bag included.
30 spots maximum.

Today was one of those days that reminded me why I started OpenMat. 🫶🏽

A room full of people so engaged, experiencing a classical mat class, some for the first time! Completely free!

…and we’re doing it all again next month.

Spaces are limited. Once they gone, they goooone!

We opened the coffee shop for the first time on Tuesday after the Great Toilet Debacle.

Naturally, I celebrated by forgetting to order oat milk.

Thankfully, the absolute legends at (Josh 🫶🏽) came to the rescue and got us stocked up with oat milk and chai at lightning speed.

So we’re officially open and serving what might be my current obsession, an outrageously good iced chai latte. Along with coffee, nourishing bits, and a warm welcome.

Pop in and say hello.
