because turning up and hoping you stumble across the right supplier is a very quick way to lose 4 hours and leave with 17 tote bags but none of the contacts you actually needed 😭
before any trade show, we:
→ research the exhibitors and suppliers ahead of time
→ shortlist the ones relevant to what we’re developing
→ find their stand numbers on the conference map
→ plan a route around the show so we’re not constantly doubling back
→ leave enough space for the unexpected finds (because there are always a few)
especially when you’re sourcing product packaging, manufacturers or suppliers, the prep beforehand makes such a difference.
for Project Mini Pudding, we headed to London Packaging Week with a very specific mission: find the right packaging for our travel-sized Hair Pudding.
