It’s not always about adding cheekbones… (swipe for the after!)
One of the areas we can lose volume as we age is the submalar region, the area just underneath the cheekbone. When volume is lost here, the face can start to look a little hollow, tired or drawn.
With this gentleman, the aim wasn’t to create big, prominent cheeks. It was to replace some of the volume that had been lost through the mid-face, supporting the cheek and softening that hollow appearance underneath.
