The Bald Bearded Boarding Bus driver - RNLI fundraiser
I'm Terry, and I'm commuting to work on a Stand Up Paddleboard to raise money for the RNLI
Latest version of the wheels on my board. I know it looks a bit over kill, but I am putting some more plants on it, and it will be a god send in the winter when I put xmas and Halloween decorations on it

Got wheels for the board to help me at the lock. It's a bit of a work in progress though
New friend. He did start eating out of my hand too

My old board had a slow puncture, so I had to get a new board. This looks so much more durable. It's also longer and faster, but less manoeuvrable. My next project is to add some wheels

Wouldn't normally post when I've done a litter pick on my paddle. But I am rather proud of my sieve litter picking attachment (some people say I'm a genius, but I'm just a regular sieve-illian 🤣😂🤣 ) got to make the place nice for the birds that are about to build nests. Also I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their donations to my gofundme! I exceeded my target milage over winter. It's not too late to donate. Link below
Check out my latest board decoration. Hopefully I'll achieve a season long time lapse of the plants growing

so.... coming towards the end of my sponsored paddleboarding. did you know
60% of my paddles have been before sunrise or after sunset
23% has felt below 0`c
42% has had gusts above 10mph
20% has had precipitation
and contrary to what it felt like, it was exactly 50% of the time i was paddling into the wind

The next rendition of my paddle board is nearly complete! I'm probably going to grow strawberries and daffodils to start with. And it needs to pivot when I take it out at the lock. On the back end of it I'm going to add a clip for my bag, and a mount for a torch, phone and gopro
