As we approach summer, some of you may be thinking on some of these approaches.

Important: Waxing & Medication Safety Notice

For your safety, please inform us before your appointment if you are currently using any weight-loss injections or medications that may affect your skin.

Certain treatments—such as GLP-1 weight-loss injections (e.g., semaglutide), acne treatments, retinoids, or other skin-thinning/sensitising medications—can make the skin more fragile and prone to lifting, irritation, or injury during waxing.

This includes (but is not limited to):

Prescription or over-the-counter retinoids (e.g., tretinoin, adapalene)

Oral acne medications (e.g., isotretinoin)

Chemical exfoliants (AHAs, BHAs)

Steroid creams

Recent chemical peels or skin treatments

Weight-loss injections that may increase skin sensitivity

Waxing may not be suitable if you are using any of the above, or we may need to adjust your treatment.

Please note:

Failure to disclose medications may increase the risk of skin lifting or damage.

We reserve the right to refuse waxing services if we believe it is unsafe.

Alternative hair removal methods may be recommended.

If you are unsure, please speak to your therapist prior to booking.

Your safety and skin health are our priority.

May is practically fully booked now at this stage, already, I only have a few tiny appointments left..If I am fully booked I can recommend other trusted therapists who will take care of you during this busy season..
