If you’ve ever wondered why nail techs panic when the UK gets a heatwave… this is why 😂☀️

Most gels are designed to work in much less temperatures than 30°C+ meaning when it’s sweltering, they’re impossible to work with 💧

Add in lamps, dust extractors and a few people in a small room and some salons become actual ovens.

When gel gets too warm it becomes runnier, harder to control, more likely to flood the skin and generally doesn’t behave how it’s supposed to.

The UK simply isn’t designed for heatwaves.
