So this is it - this is why I gave up my job and decided to start my own business that works around my kids. Attending my sons Rock concert is not something that would have been possible in my old role.
Is it easy running my own business? No
Do I question what I’m doing? Yes often
Would I change it? Absolutely not.

Lovely evening for a stroll and tonight’s topic of conversation was ... phishing. I am in awe of my husbands knowledge and I’ve mastered the art of nodding at the right time 🙌. He also likes to think he’s the boss of our dogs, the spoilt cavvies think otherwise (ps we are walking an extra) 😂🙄

Last Thursday's This Morning programme had a feature on eczema, my daughter suffers form occasional eczema and what was said is the reason I swapped to using 100% natural, gentle products.
Dr George Moncrieff basically said that we should not wash with anything which is a soap, detergent, shower gels, shampoos as the top layer of our skin is a barrier which prevent allergens getting in, especially where it is thin, (crooks of elbows, behind knees etc), as these will destroy the natural barrier.
We should wash instead with emollients, (skin softening), as they will re-grease instead of de-greasing the skin.
Babies have thin skin and detergents and soap damage the skin.
Since WW2 the incidence of eczema in children has risen from 2-3% to epidemic proportions, 25% and 30% of parents have consulted their GP in the first year of life.
In the first 2 years of life, it sets the way the body reacts to potential allergens.
It is not too late if you or your children already have eczema, it is still important to look after it.
The good news is that our shower, bath, & hair products contain nothing which constitutes soap or detergent & actually do include emollients in our body washes, including Almond oil, Plant Glycerin, and Avocado oil, so this would be a great recommendation.
Our products are pH balancing. We have gentle cleansers, derived from Coconuts.
