Some kindnesses are so powerful they move you to tears. Not because they are grand or loud or monumental, but because they arrive exactly when the weight is too much to bear.
A stranger who waits with you on the curb whilst your hands shake. A friend who texts "I'm here" without needing a reply. The colleague who says “take a break for a moment - I’ve got this.” These moments often don’t cost the other person a thing; and yet, they are priceless.
Because they don’t come to fix you; they come to make room for you. And in that room - spacious, gentle, unthreatening - you find, often without meaning to, that you can finally fall apart. That you don’t have to keep holding it all together. The armour you’ve worn for so long starts to slip, not because someone pries it off, but because - for the first time in a while - you’re not bracing for harm.
It’s the safety of it.
The tenderness.
The sense that someone is holding a bit of the weight with you, even if they can’t take it away.
And that gentle moment; that safe space, that permission - being allowed to crumble without judgment - can feel like relief.
Yes, some kindnesses are so powerful that they move us to tears. But maybe it isn’t the kindness itself that makes it powerful.
Maybe it’s how much we need it.

Fire cupping is a non-invasive treatment that may help relieve pain and inflammation, improve blood flow, and increase range of motion. It's a type of cupping therapy that's been practiced for thousands of years in many cultures.
Benefits
Pain relief: Fire cupping can help relieve pain from muscular, joint, and soft tissue injuries
Improved blood flow: The suction created by the cup increases blood circulation to the treated area
Reduced inflammation: Fire cupping can help reduce inflammation and swelling
Improved range of motion: Fire cupping can help increase range of motion
Stress relief: Fire cupping can help relieve stress and other symptoms
Improved digestion: Fire cupping can help improve digestion
How it works
A flammable substance is placed in a glass or silicone cup
The cup is lit on fire
The fire is allowed to go out
The cup is placed upside down on the skin
The suction from the cup causes the skin to rise and redden

Sciatic pain & fire cupping therapy
Classic sciatic pain starts in the low back and buttocks. It affects one leg traveling down the back of the thigh, past the knee, and sometimes into the calf and foot. The pain feels worse in the leg than in the back. It may range from a mild ache to severe burning or a shooting pain.
Sciatica pain can be almost anywhere along the nerve pathway. It's especially likely to follow a path from the low back to the buttock and the back of a thigh and calf. The pain can vary from a mild ache to a sharp, burning pain.
Sports massage coupled with fire cupping allows the suction to pull the skin and muscle tissue up into the cup, which can help to release tension and improve blood flow. This therapy is primarily used to treat conditions like pain and inflammation and is considered complementary.

Fire cupping - Don't be alarmed by the marks.
Cupping is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy where inverted glass, plastic, or bamboo cups are applied to the acupuncture points on the body.
This old TCM philosophy holds that pain results from the blockage of Qi, blood, or energy. Cupping is therefore a method of clearing this blockage to restore the body’s natural flow of energy and thus alleviating the pain.
Recent researches show that cupping therapy helps to:
Decrease muscle activity which results in pain reduction
Help with muscle relaxation by improving microcirculation, promoting cell repair and angiogenesis in tissues
Promote healing process via increased local tissue metabolism
Activate the lymphatic system to drain excess fluids and toxins
Induce comfort and relaxation on a systemic level
Good for musculoskeletal pain: Chronic lower back pain, neck pain and fibromyalgia
Good for digestive problems: Bloating, gastric reflux and constipation conditions
Good for improving recovery: Cough, asthma and common cold
Marks that are black, deep purple or blue indicate blood stagnation in the area. This means that an injury or illness has resided in the area for a long time and the body has yet to full clear the stagnation.
Cupping will allow the body to deal with the stagnation more effectively and promote health to the area.
