Exfoliation can cause abrasion, irritation and peeling of the skin’s surface.
Exfoliating is important to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs, but it should not be done on the same day as your waxing appointment.
During waxing, some of the skin’s superficial cells, natural oils and dead skin cells are also removed.

That’s why, after waxing or exfoliating, it’s important to use good soothing, restorative and moisturising products to help replenish and protect the skin.
