Trying to be more conscious and write more.

The last few months have taught me a great deal, life will throw you curveballs in which you have to deal with.

The automatic thought when something goes wrong is I’ve failed…there was no point as I didn’t succeed.

Ok so the outcome may have been different to what you expected, however what have you learnt? Them little gems of information or experience you have had will all lead to something greater. They’re all stepping stones in order for you to succeed in the future.

Don’t focus in on yourself and your failures, as you then become stuck by the glass ceiling. Try and see the skills you have gained.

Time is a healer is a phrase you always hear after a loss…but is it?

To me this made me feel rubbish after the passing of my father. I didn’t want to heal, as that would then mean forgetting.

Really it never heals, however you learn to live again in a new normal.

Your love never diminishes and actually it’s about you keeping their spirit alive.

Grief is a really funny thing and no one grieves the same. The waves are common…one minute your up the next you are down.

Just keep taking baby steps forward, don’t forget to laugh about the amazing memories you had together.

They never leave you!
