Painting close to the cuticle is a process. You simply can’t rush it 🤍
When I’m applying colour this close to the skin, we’re talking about tiny millimetres. One small movement can be the difference between a perfectly clean application and touching the cuticle with colour.
That’s why I always ask my clients to keep their hand completely still. And yes… I don’t even like them using their phone while I’m painting 😅
You might think your hand isn’t moving, but even tiny movements and vibrations travel through the fingers 🫣
For me, clean application around the cuticle is all about:
→ taking your time
→ controlling the brush and product
→ keeping the client’s hand stable
→ getting as close as possible without touching the skin and having the line nice and straight
Those extra few seconds make such a difference to the final result 🤍
