Passionate about hairdressing from an early age Julie opened Reflections in 1982 as a very young stylist. The gents salon is on the second floor.

She spent several years on the competition circuit picking up many trophies and also taught hairdressing at RFDC & Hereford College. Our highly motivated salon team travel to Manchester and London on a regular basis for advanced training sessions with some of the top hair industry icons. Well that’s a rap.
Great first day, 10 clients made beautiful,
tidied up the Christmas chocolates 🤪
smashed a mug 😩
All clean and quiet now, fog is back, good thing home is not far away. Early night I think.
Good to be back.

Holidays are over and it’s time to stop eating, dancing and sleeping late, back to work.

Happy New Year everyone. Still enjoying time off and I re-open 15th January.
Again a big thank you for your visits last year and my gifts at Christmas.
Should have read the packaging on what I thought was wine & heart shaped white chocolates though, as was luxury guest soaps….. they didn’t taste very nice 🙈
My mouth should have finished frothing by the 15th 😂😂😂😂

2024 in the salon is now over for me.
It’s been another fabulous year that has flown by. A big thank you to all of my clients who I genuinely care about & that care for me. Your visits and your stories are what make my working days a joy.
As usual I am taking a fair time off. The salon will re open on Wednesday 15th January 2025.
Merry Christmas to you & your families and I hope you all have a healthy and a Happy New Year.

The main road through Lydney is partially closed from today until Wednesday.
To access the salon from the ‘ Factory Shop’ end of Lydney you will need to use the bypass.

It’s been a very very long Christmas break for me 😁
Just popped into salon, the decs are now down, salon is clean and ready for Wednesday.

Diary is full 😁😁 so going home to do some press ups 😂😂😂
