We're putting on Musical Bingo at the Vine in Hannington this Friday 28th August.
How's it work? Instead of numbers, you have song titles on your bingo card. We play snippets from popular songs from across the decades and, if it's on your card, you mark it off. We play for a horizontal line and a full house.
Cash prizes to be won so, instead of "Eyes down looking" it's "Ears up, Listen in!"
There are still some unclaimed glasses at the Vine. Please remember it was publicised that, if they are not collected by 8pm tonight, they will go back on sale (and we do have a massive waiting list)

The government have done the right thing. I'd like to think my campaigning today played a small part in influencing events.
Pubs allowed to stay open until 5am for England Mexico match The government had initially said it would not relax licensing laws further than they already have been for the World Cup.

Just sent this email to the BBC regarding the restrictions on some pubs when it comes to the England v Mexico match in the early hours of Monday morning.
Brandarrow are working for the licenced trade and will always have your best interests at heart.

Let's hope the government shows support for the licenced trade and allows a relaxation of the licensing laws during the England v Mexico match. God knows, the industry has been clobbered lately and pubs should be able to make hay while England are still in the tournament.
Government may now allow pubs to extend hours for 1am England clash The government had initially said it would not relax licensing laws further than they already have been for the World Cup.
