In May my cousin Hannah had a serious and freak accident when she fell off her bike ,She lay on the road pumping out blood from her leg, but in her words ‘like a chocolate fountain’. The NW Air Ambulance delivered her to Manchester Pediatric hospital in just minutes, luckily she is going to make a full recovery.

As a thank you a group of us are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge in October to raise money for the NW Air Ambulance. It is a charity that is fully self funded with no government or NHS funding. Our Just Giving page is a small snapshot of what Hannah has been through and how this story would have had a different ending without the named people and the NW Air Ambulance.

We are forever grateful beyond words, to them all.
