Let me introduce myself.. ☁️🎀

My name is Lucy & I've been in the hair industry for nearly 10 years! I previously ran my own salon Lulu's Hair Studio for 4 years and have recently moved into a beautiful new space at .co

I specialise in natural colours & hair styling, but offer most aspects of hairdressing including nano hair extensions.

My working days are Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays but when I'm not in the salon, I'm spending time with my gorgeous husband and amazing son.

I currently have a few limited spaces for new clients so encourage anyone wanting to book for Christmas to please do so asap!

The end of an era..

I just want to thank every single client that came through my door over the past 4 years - I have been truly blessed to meet some incredible women & make amazing memories 💐💞

But I am so excited to be moving into my new space at .co from the 13th of October as 😍😍

This new chapter will be the best one yet ✨

BREAKING NEWS 📰

After 4 incredible years, I’ve made the decision to close Lulu’s Hair Studio and begin a new chapter in my career.

In those 4 years, Lulu’s has been at the very heart of my life. I’ve celebrated winning 3 industry awards – including Best Boutique Salon (twice) – and I’ve also had two of my biggest personal milestones: getting married and becoming a mum. The salon has been an integral part of my journey through it all, and I couldn’t be prouder of what it has achieved.

Running a salon is hugely rewarding but also demanding, and now feels like the right time to close this chapter on a high and take the next step.

From 13th October 2025, I’ll be working as Lucy Thompson Hair Design at .co in Ansdell – just a 6-minute drive from Warton Street. I’ll still be doing what I love most – creating beautiful hair – but from a new, inspiring space.

All existing appointments will be contacted, either via message or face to face at your appointment but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. (If you see this before you hear from me - message me! 📱❤️)

You'll see some changes over the next month, and my working hours and pricing structure are being altered slightly to accommodate this change.

I want to add that this is absolutely not a sad day! This is the positive step that I, and my family are so ready for & I want to thank every single client who has supported me and Lulu’s over the years – I’m so excited to welcome you into this next stage with me. ✨☁️
