Polynucleotides, amazing for your skin, but we need to talk about the downtime…
Polynucleotides are all about improving skin quality rather than changing your face. They work gradually to support skin regeneration, hydration and elasticity, making them particularly useful for areas such as the under-eyes, face and neck.
But one thing patients need to know: you may not look your best when you first leave clinic.
The product is placed into the skin using multiple small injections, which can leave visible bumps, redness and swelling immediately afterwards. Around the eyes especially, swelling can sometimes look quite noticeable.
This is temporary and usually settles as the product disperses and the initial reaction calms down.
So this definitely isn’t the treatment I’d book immediately before an important event!
The immediate aftermath might not be pretty… but we’re treating the skin for the results that come later.

Cheek filler isn’t about creating big, obvious cheeks… it’s about restoring what time has taken away.
One of the biggest myths in aesthetics is that cheek filler is only for adding volume.
In reality, it’s often used to restore facial support and create a fresher, more balanced appearance.

Not every face needs more filler. Sometimes it needs less. 🤍
One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that more product always means a better result.
It doesn’t.
When filler is repeatedly added without considering facial proportions, it can start to create features that look exaggerated rather than refreshed.
In this carousel, I’ve used some light-hearted examples to show what I mean.
• Overfilled cheeks can create unwanted width and a heavier appearance.
• Too much chin filler can throw off facial harmony and make the lower face look longer than intended.
• Bigger lips don’t always look better. Once natural shape and definition are lost, lips can start to dominate the face instead of complementing it.
Every face is different, which is why I never follow trends or use the same treatment plan for everyone.
My goal is simple:
Natural, balanced results that enhance your features not change them.
Less is often more.
