For this elegant upstyle, we went for a sleek slick-back finish at the front, paired with a smooth Shang Young-inspired bun at the back.

The brief was polished and timeless — not curly, not messy, just beautifully smooth with a little extra lift and detail to elevate the look. The subtle shaping within the bun adds interest while keeping the overall style refined and modern.

My lovely client was attending a wedding and wanted a smooth, sleek style with plenty of volume and movement.

To give extra fullness and holding power, we added just one row of tape extensions to her naturally fine hair. The difference one row can make is incredible adding body, support and longevity without anyone knowing it’s there.

Finished with soft volume, beautiful shine and a style that lasted all day for the celebrations 🤍

How stunning is this elegant upstyle created for a wedding at the weekend 🤍

My client had a LOT of hair, so the aim was to create a style that looked soft, effortless & elegant while still feeling secure and comfortable all day long ✨

To achieve this look, I used:
• Powder spray for lift, grip & texture
• Wax spray for definition and control
• Strong hold products to keep everything perfectly in place all day & night

Sections were carefully twisted, pinned and shaped to create volume and softness, while also tucking away extra thickness seamlessly into the style 🤎 Such a beautiful hair colour and all her own 😎
