So excited to finally share a little surprise I’ve been keeping for the last 9 months… next week we’re due to have a little baby boy!! 💙🩵
It’s been a lot to navigate pregnancy, running a bridal hair and makeup business along with some health issues, which has meant social media has taken a massive back seat!
A big thank you to all my lovely brides who have been so understanding and particularly my recent brides who have been bumped by the bump during hair and makeup 😂
I will be taking a short amount of time off initially and will be returning for my summer brides.
Please be patient with me whilst navigating this whole new life change and please expect a delayed response for the next few months! There will be some scheduled content being posted throughout to keep Instagram algorithm happy!

Skin that looks like skin is just the perfect bridal glow ✨
My gorgeous, gorgeous December bride Emily had the most beautiful, hydrated and well invested skin that just made her base makeup a dream to bring to life. We barely used any foundation, concealer in the right places and blush / bronze to add some glow and colour into the skin.
Makeup cannot get rid of lines, texture, and imperfections but a good, simple skin routine targeting your skin concerns and lots and lots of hydration will allow makeup to blend with your skin rather than sitting on top of it!

I’m so fortunate that I’ve had so many lovely bridesmaids over the years become future brides and it is the best feeling getting that enquiry come through. Why? With trial season in full swing, here are 3 tips (picture edition) to get the most out of your trial with your glam team!
1. Be realistic with your inspo pics 📸
There are soooo many AI images and heavily edited photos out there, it’s hard but if the skin looks airbrushed, brows perfectly symmetrical and no other imperfections, it’s probably fake!
2. Break down the features in your inspo pics 👁️
I will always ask what you like or what drew you to the image. Is it the eye makeup, the lashes, the blush / bronze combo or shades, the lip colours or whether it’s glossy or matte finish, the brightened eyes, inner corner shimmer.. this helps your artist interpret how these aspects might suit you
3. Pictures of yourself when you’ve loved your own makeup 💋
If there’s been a particular occasion you have LOVED your makeup either done by yourself or by another MUA have it as easy access to help your MUA understand how you usually like your makeup!

This job is not always easy, some very early starts, long days, often no breaks, stressful timings with a lot of pressure and sooooo much more admin than you’d think 😂. However, it’s also an absolute dream to be living and I’m so, so grateful to every one of you and that final touch up once you’re in your dress and all ready to go is my favourite moment that makes it all worth it!
