✨ 7 years ago… it all started with a little drawing in a notebook ✨

In 2019, after buying my garden room and before any of us knew what was around the corner with Covid, I sat down and sketched my very first idea for the Secret Oasis Beauty logo. 🌸

I had a vision of creating a beautiful, private little escape where clients could relax, feel comfortable and leave feeling fabulous — and looking at this drawing now makes me realise just how far that little idea has come.

Secret Oasis Beauty has since grown into a multi-award-winning salon, offering everything from nails, lashes and brows to waxing and spray tans. I’ve continued learning, adding new treatments, challenging myself and pouring so much of my personality and heart into the experience I give every client.

There have been obstacles, plenty of ADHD-fuelled ideas, lots of hard work and a few moments of self-doubt along the way — but I am incredibly proud of what I have created and the businesswoman I have become.

From this little pencil sketch… to 9 awards and counting, incredible recognition, and the most wonderfully loyal clients. 🥹💗

Thank you to every single person who has supported my little garden salon and helped turn my original vision into something even better than I imagined.

I may not have stayed with the idea but not bad for a doodle in a notebook, hey? 🌸✨

After all the work that went into my applications, finding out I’ve made the finals in all three categories I entered feels pretty incredible! ❤️

Secret Oasis Beauty has always been about creating more than just treatments. I wanted my little garden salon to be somewhere clients can come, switch off, have a laugh, feel completely comfortable and leave feeling fabulous. ✨

To have that recognised once again by the Kent Health & Beauty Awards means so much — especially after the amazing awards we’ve already brought home over the years. 🏆

And of course, none of this happens without my gorgeous clients. Every appointment, recommendation, review, message and bit of support has helped me build this little business into something I’m incredibly proud of.

🌈 A little pop of colour! 🌈

How gorgeous are these bright rainbow French tips?! 💚💙💜🩷 The perfect way to keep hold of those summer vibes for just a little bit longer! ☀️

This is a builder gel overlay on the client’s natural nails, giving them added strength while still keeping everything looking beautifully natural. ✨

We also had two little casualties before her appointment, so two nails needed repairing and rebuilding to bring them back in line with the rest — and you’d never know! 💅🏻

Builder gel isn’t just about adding strength; it’s also perfect for helping maintain length and creating a beautifully balanced, uniform set while the natural nails grow underneath.

And those colourful tips… 😍 Simple, bright and SO much fun!

☀️ AUGUST DUMP ☀️

What a summer. 🥹💛 Looking back through my camera roll and realising just how much we managed to squeeze into August!

We started the summer in Kos 🇬🇷 — sunshine, family time and, obviously, some VERY good cocktails. 🍹😂 And somehow we just kept going from there…

☀️ Watching my boy and his mate at Andrew’s Lakes while I happily soaked up the sunshine oh and also went back again to actually go on.
💗 A much-needed catch-up walk with my beautiful friend Liz
🏖️ Beach days and salty hair
🌠 Lying under the stars watching the meteor shower with my boy — definitely one of those little memories I’ll keep forever
🏄‍♀️ Paddleboarding at Pevensey Bay, followed by fish & chips by the sea… because it would be rude not to!
🚲 Family ride around Bedgbury Pinetum
😱 London Dungeon adventures with my boy (so scary 😬)
🎭 Seeing SIX the Musical with my fab friend Sarah and our Mummas — absolutely brilliant!
🌊 Ending the holidays with an Airbnb stay in Ferring seeing Arundel Castle with my boys and my Mamma
🤪 And one epic day packed with fun activities to finish it all off!

It’s been busy, slightly chaotic, full of sunshine, laughter, adventures and some really special people. 💛

I’m never quite ready to say goodbye to summer, but August… you were a good one. ☀️🥹

Now excuse me while I pretend September isn’t happening just yet… 😂🍂

How gorgeous is this bright, juicy orange?! 😍 There’s absolutely no rushing into autumn colours just yet — we’re hanging onto those summer vibes for as long as we possibly can! ☀️🌴

I’ve also been a little bit rubbish on social media over the last few weeks 🙈 It’s been super busy, and when I haven’t been working, I’ve been making the most of the summer holidays and enjoying some much-needed time with my family. 💕

Sometimes it’s nice to put the phone down and just enjoy it! 🥰
