Wellbeing Drumming Workshop A drumming circle outside around a fire connecting with the seasons, and ourselves. A mixed circle of all sexes.

The last week has been one of huge growth and deep inner connection.

Starting last Friday with holding space for her women on the Sacred Women’s Drum Circle facilitators training. It was so wonderful returning to that space , the beauty, the quiet, the roundhouse.

Being there alongside ( foot selfie is the only selfie we got !) was just perfect.

I felt such pride in myself, in what I have learnt, experienced and achieved in the last year.

I feel blessed and honoured to have met so many women. Women who have entered the circle space with apprehension and doubt, who have pushed past uncomfortable feelings because the drum is calling them to circle. Thank you all for your trust and honesty 🙏

After a busy weekend I managed to have the most beautiful healing session with Vicci .soulutions on Monday. It was so freeing and allowed for all the energy that I was unknowingly holding to be released and free. I’ve honestly felt so much clearer and lighter all week. Thank you 🙏

Then this mornings group yoga session. I have practiced yoga on and off for years and all from the safety of my lounge in my pjs and with YouTube sensation Yoga with Adriene. I love her videos. Having started yoga with real people in clothes a couple of months ago the deepening of connection and practice is astounding. I thank Emma from for her deep devotion to her practice and sharing it so beautifully with us ❤️ this morning was the most fantastic way to start the day and to connect to the solstice and ourselves.

So three heartwarming and soul deepening experiences on the cusp of a full moon- not even mentioning the circle I held in Tuesday with was light and fun .

Much fun had tonight. Lots of new faces , a beautiful sense of sisterhood and an overwhelming need for many of us to devote more time and space to ourselves.

Whether that is a daily mediation, finishing the things we start with as much joy as we had in the beginning, “being” instead of doing. We drummed for this for the group and then sent that love and energy out to all the women who need space and time to their selves.

So firstly, a massive thank you to anyone who has purchased a Token Thoughts product from me over the last 4 years.

Token Thoughts was never a long term venture and as a creative I have many ideas that I’d like to pursue all of the time! This has been the most in depth adventure and full of so much learning and satisfaction.

Starting a small business is incredible, the support network has been amazing and I have learnt so much from others and about myself.

I close this because it’s time to start a new journey, I have so much gratitude for everyone who has trusted me to make something special for them. The idea that my tokens are supporting people out there fills me with pride.

So, keeping all of the mantras that I have stamped firmly at the forefront of my brain,I am shutting shop.

Enjoy summer with your loved ones, breathe the fresh air and watch the flowers grow. Be creative and do what makes you happy. Wishing you all well in this crazy world.

Who are you?

When we begin in to peel away who we think we should be, who we are expected to be and who we strive to be, a sense of our real self can emerge.

Don’t push them away! Try to embrace the good and not so good parts of you.

There are elements about my personality that I have learnt to except and in ways embrace.

I am really quite relaxed until I’m not and when I’m not- I’m hot headed and sweary!

I am relaxed, but organised, I am honest, but empathetic, I am enthusiastic but uninterested, I am loving caring mummy but a independent woman, I am confident but anxious, I am thoughtful but forgetful. …

And that is me. Maybe with age a greater sense of self satisfaction can be achieved, maybe it’s personality. Who knows ! But I’m thankful for those things that make me, me.

What ever you are like, as long as you are not causing others upset…

Just be you.

One of my favourites:
We were walking down the high street behind a lady in a mobility scooter. She had her scooter piled with shopping and her flowers fell off.
I grabbed them and ran after the zooming scooter shooting about her flowers to return them to her.

She stopped, looked around and got off of her scooter and walked over to get them 🤣

I can still see my mums face when we looked at each other and I had to stifle my giggles.

It was like the David Williams sketch when the guy jumps out of his wheel chair goes swimming and then feigns ignorance!

I am so lucky to have these three in my life. Although sometimes I’ll admit, it’s a juggle.

Because I want to be there for them without Token Thoughts in the background, I am shutting shop in December for one month. Then I can fully engage in birthdays, fetes, pantos, nativities, Santa visit and the rest.

Any orders- especially frames that you may want must be ordered in the next week so I have two weeks to make them and send in plenty of time for Christmas.
