Regular exfoliating makes the world of difference to your waxing results. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells and helps reduce ingrown hairs. I recommend a sugar/salt based scrub for best results. Use your hands to rub the exfoliant in circular motions all over the skin. Exfoliating should be done 3-4 times a week, avoiding the day of your wax and 48 hours after.

Acids and Retinoids affect your skins strength and increase sensitivity, making them unsafe to mix with waxing. It is really important you let me know of any changes to medication or skin care routine before your appointments.
General advice is to stop using products containing these ingredients for a week prior to your appointments or if using a prescription medication for acne for example to not have waxing until you have completed the treatment course.
